The Western States Rhetoric and Literacy Conference will be hosted by the NMSU English Department October 22-23, 2010. Proposals are now being accepted on the Conference Theme: Transforming Rhetoric: Discovery and Change.
La Sociedad para las Artes is hosting a reading by Abraham Smith on Friday, March 12th at 7:30 pm in Hardman Hall 106. MFA student Ramona Reeves will also be reading. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.
The Borderlands Writing Project is accepting applications until March 15th for its Annual Summer Institute.
Welcome to the English Department at New Mexico State University. We provide specialized study in Literature, Rhetoric and Professional Communication, and Creative Writing. We have award-winning faculty who are dedicated to maintaining a friendly and stimulating intellectual environment. We offer small classes that encourage active and meaningful participation for all students.
