Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center

About Us

The Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center at New Mexico State University was created to provide a safe place on campus for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community and those who support them. It is a welcoming place for all students, faculty, and staff on campus with special emphasis on providing resources and support for the GLBTQ community.

This also includes allies and those who are questioning their sexual orientation and/or their gender identity. The Resource Center welcomes a diversity of racial, ethnic, religious, political, and cultural values. The staff is committed to serving the campus and the larger community with professionalism and esteem. The Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center offers encouragement and referral with the purpose of enhancing the wellbeing and meaningful experience in the New Mexico State University community. NMSU recognized the need for such a center and we officially opened our doors April 23rd of 2007.
