Special Topics
Specialized presentations on various topics which concern LGBTQ issues can be created for your organization or class. We request that if you choose this option, you contact the SGDRC two weeks prior to when you would like the presentation.
Speakers Bureau Panels
The Speakers Bureau Panels consist of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight LGBT allies who hope to dispel some of the myths, stereotypes, and misinformation present in society about the LBGT community by sharing experiences, answering questions, and presenting an opportunity to know the LGBT community.
Our all volunteer panels provide an unique look into the experiences and wisdom that comes from our gay community. Each presentation is coordinated from community resources as well as through our gay straight alliances on campus.
Safe Zone Training
The Safe Zone Training was established to educate and train students, faculty, and staff on how to provide safe and affirming support to members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community.
