Message from NMSU Housing & Residence Life

Update 6/3/2020

Dear Aggies,

In preparation for opening our residential facilities for fall 2020 arrival of students, we are focused on practices that support a healthy on-campus living environment. We are committed to providing students with a positive, engaging, safe and supportive campus experience.

The health and safety of students is everyone's responsibility. NMSU Housing & Residential Life will provide the framework and guidance from NMSU health experts, NM Department of Health, CDC and other resources, with the expectation that students will do their part to stay healthy and keep their on-campus community safe.

Through the summer, we will implement operational practices that may become the norm as we adapt to a post-COVID-19 world. Your first experience with these adaptations will be scheduling an appointment for your move into campus housing in August. Safety measures like scheduling and sticking to your move-in time will be successful only if they are followed. For your safety, we're implementing best practices for social distancing, face masks in public and restricted access to residents. Look for our weekly newsletter launching next week, with important updates and information.

NMSU Housing & Residential Life is looking forward to your arrival in August. Together we can ensure your on-campus life is fun, engaging and a meaningful continuation of your experience as an Aggie.
