The Experience

Turn Science into Real World Conservation Impact

The program encompasses several disciplines, including Biology, Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Ecology, Geography, Geology, Government and Range Science. This diverse curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of global biodiversity and the ecological and evolutionary processes that sustain it. An overriding principle of the program is to provide a solid foundation in basic science coupled with a practical approach toward sustainability and stewardship.

Get up to 100% of tuition covered with the New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship.**

The Bachelor of Science in Conservation Ecology consists of 120 credits. To earn this degree, you need to complete all University degree requirements, which include General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above.
