The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business at New Mexico State University (NMSU) is designed for students aiming to pursue careers in global commerce. This program equips graduates with essential skills and knowledge in areas such as international payments, foreign exchange markets, global marketing, export and import procedures, and international investments. Students are also required to demonstrate proficiency in a second language and engage in an international experience, such as studying abroad, to enhance their global business acumen.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business consists of 120 credits. To earn this degree, you need to complete all Department of Business core courses, and all University degree requirements, which include General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above.
International Business majors must also complete an international experience which may involve working or studying abroad. NMSU provides assistance in identifying appropriate international experiences, including exchange programs under which students pay NMSU tuition rather than the tuition of the foreign university.
Second language: Students must demonstrate oral and written proficiency at the intermediate mid-level according to ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) proficiency guidelines.
