Students are drawn to NMSU’s Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Sexuality Studies because it offers an inclusive, interdisciplinary space to explore issues of identity, power, and social justice. The program empowers students to think critically about gender, race, sexuality, and class through lenses of activism, culture, and policy. This program consists of 120 credits. To earn this degree, you need to complete all university degree requirements, which include General Education requirements, Viewing a Wider World requirements, and elective credits, with 48 credits in courses numbered 300 or above. There is no second language requirement for this degree.
