Yes. TEDxNMSU is a free event. Registration is still required due to limited seating.

Because this is our first TEDx event, attendance is limited to 100 guests in accordance with TEDx licensing guidelines for first-time organizers.

Attendees can expect TED-style talks, inspiring ideas, meaningful conversations and community connection through speakers from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
TEDx talks are typically under 18 minutes long and are designed to present one powerful idea clearly and concisely.
Yes. TEDx talks are commonly recorded for possible publication on TEDx digital platforms in accordance with TED guidelines.
Speaker announcements, applications or nominations will be shared through TEDxNMSU communication channels if opportunities become available.

Yes. TEDx events are volunteer-driven and organized as nonprofit community experiences focused on ideas worth spreading.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event, TEDxNMSU, is independently organized under a TEDx license. At TEDxNMSU, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
